Locals say that people who come to visit Jackson Hole are those that are called to the wild. A 50-mile long valley or hole in the mountains along the Teton Mountain Range,  Jackson Hole got its name from brave explorers and adventurous fur trappers who discovered the valley. Today it is known as an icon in the world of ski mountaineering as well as being simultaneously one of the world’s most pictureque and challenging mountain playgrounds.

Jackson Hole has 133 named runs served by 12 lifts as well as the added bonus of 200 acres of intermediate terrain with a new learning centre. If the slopes are too challenging or you want to discover the wider area,  there is also lots of other fun to be had, including snowmobiling, visiting Granite Hot Springs or cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

Trunk to come when the snow returns and the ski season starts!
